Ballycastle Junior Tennis Tournament

This event, which is played on the only grass courts in Northern Ireland, comprising of 5 grass courts and 6 floodlit polymeric courts is still one of the most competitive with entries from all over Europe. It contributes substantially to the local economy because of the numbers attending. It is reported to be one of the largest entries for any tournament in Ireland.

Finals and presentations will take place on the last day of the event.

Our Living Coast Boat Tour

Join Causeway Sea fishing Company's eagle-eyed crew in a unique 2-hour journey along the Causeway Coast. You will see wildlife in its natural environment and learn about the hidden local history of the Causeway Coast.

Depart Portrush Harbour, cruise along the North of the Skerries; see hauled out seals, then continue on to Dunluce Castle. The return journey is via the White Rocks' sea caves and East bays.

Cost of the tour is £25 including tea and coffee.

The Ould Lammas Fair

Ireland’s traditional oldest fair which takes place on the last Monday and Tuesday of August. The present-day fair provides street entertainment and market stalls.

Two days of trading, bargaining, traditional music and dance, horse trading village, amusements, artisan market and street theatre complimented by activities over the preceding weekend to add to the atmosphere in the beautiful seaside resort of Ballycastle.

The Fair traditionally attracts thousands of people from around the world and features stalls selling

craft, bric-a-brac, local crafts and farm produce to mention a few! Local specialities include 'Yellow Man' a sweet honeycomb candy and a red edible seaweed known as 'Dulse'.

Naturally North Coast and Glens Artisan Market will be at the seafront on Monday and Tuesday from 10.00 - 18.00. If you love local fresh food, quirky handmade crafts and fine art why not learn more and come and visit the many and varied stalls!

Locals look forward to the fair and enjoy meeting up with old friends that they haven't seen from the previous year!
